Indications/Uses
Prophylaxis of neonatal ophthalmia due to Neisseria gonorrhoeae or Chlamydia trachomatis. Superficial ocular infections of the conjunctiva &/or cornea caused by organisms susceptible to erythromycin.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply directly to infected eye 4-6 times daily. Prophylaxis of neonatal gonococcal or Chlamydial ophthalmia Apply 1-1.5 cm ribbon into each lower conjunctival sac.
Special Precautions
Hypersensitivity. Discontinue if overgrowth of nonsusceptible organisms including fungi occurs. History of liver liver disorders.
